In our IPAK FPG, S.A. plant in Costa Rica, we produce a wide variety molded plastic items, specializing in polypropylene closures by injection molding. Our main customers are the cosmetic and food industries and in the near future will include the medical industry as well. The injection molding procedure allows for significantly thinner walls and less weight resulting in overall economics. Although closure technology has always sought to provide tight seal with easy access we are also capable of making tamper resistant caps and childproof “squeeze and turn” caps. Among our products are caps which attach by either continuous thread or by friction. Caps can have movable flip spouts, push-pull or hinged plug-orifice closures, among others.
